The client’s desire was a stone castle that was built over time - from farm to fortress to private residence. Design details include Classical proportions, a Corinthian Cherry Library, a massive Great Room with carved beams, Quartered Sawn White Oak and custom woodcarvings. Hardwood species featured are Quarter Sawn White Oak, Cherry, Walnut and Cypress. From rich, ornate details to more simplistic styling, this residence is a visual delight. These clients were especially pleased when friends could actually believe it was hidden on this mountain in the Ozarks since the fall of Rome!
