Three Priming & Sanding Tiers
Choose the level of finish preparation that fits your project. All services use Sherwin-Williams SHER-WOOD® 5421W Universal Primer — compatible with both oil and water-based topcoats.
Face Priming
We prime the front face of the moulding to provide a clean, opaque white finish. The fastest option — ideal when you plan to finish on-site and want a primed surface ready to accept your topcoat.

Face Priming & Sanding
We prime the front face, then sand using our Flap Wheel process for a smooth, installation-ready finish. The most popular option — arrives ready to topcoat and install, eliminating job-site prep entirely.

Face & Back Priming with Sanding
We prime both sides of the moulding for a fully sealed finish, then sand the face using our Flap Wheel process. Available on limited part numbers — contact our team to confirm availability for your profile.

The Primer We Use
For priming, we use Sherwin-Williams Universal Primer, SHER-WOOD® 5421W — a professional-grade primer that provides a clean, opaque white prime coat.
This primer is compatible with both oil and water-based topcoats, giving your finishing team maximum flexibility on the job site. Combined with our Flap Wheel sanding process, it creates a superior bond surface that holds topcoats cleanly and consistently.
Eligible moulding collections: Mon Reale Mouldings, Traditional Mouldings, and Ornamentally Embossed Mouldings. Pricing tiers are based on linear feet and face width.
