White River Hardwoods now offers THREE Priming and Sanding Options ( Listed Below) with various Pricing Tiers. These tiers are based on linear feet and face width requirements for Mon Reale, Traditional and Embossed Mouldings. These Priming and Sanding services are not eligible for Trade Discounts.
For priming, we use Sherwin-Williams Universal Primer, SHER-WOOD® 5421W, to provide a clean, opaque white prime coat and is compatible with both oil and water-based topcoats. We use Flap Wheel sanding to accommodate our different profiles and to ensure a superior bond with our primer. These two premium services will allow us to reduce your costs and save you time from the burden of priming and sanding mouldings on the job site before installation.
Sanding & Priming Options
Allow for extra 2 weeks on top of standard lead times
1. Face Priming – We prime the front face of the moulding to provide a clean opaque, white finish.
2. Face Priming & Sanding – We prime the front side of the moulding to provide a clean opaque, white finish. We then sand the face using a Flap Wheel process to provide a smooth finish - ready to install.
3. Face and Back Priming with Sanding (Limited Part #'s) - We prime both sides of the moulding to provide a clean opaque finish that is now sealed both face and back. We then sand the face using a Flap Wheel process to provide a smooth finish - ready to install.
