The initial concept was that the entrance hall was to be based on the Chapel Royal at the Château de Versailles. From there, the rest of the spaces were designed with Rococo and Neoclassical inspired wall and ceiling panels, elaborate multi-piece crown details and medallions, and elegant, Neoclassically designed custom doors. Highly ornamented moulding details were used throughout this opulent mansion. This client loved to paint and gold leaf ornate details and found being a part of the final finishing – relaxing. He built this home so they would come - and they still do.
